The mystery of the Dirty City Brothers is beginning to be revealed.

Long ago and on a hilltop far away, a spark of lightning hit the nail holding a gargoyle

on the steeple of an old church.

On an ordinary day this might not have mattered, but at that very moment

a cleaning woman in the building below was polishing the metal rod transporting the powerful bolt.

The shock went straight through her, and as she fell to the floor, she had a strange sensation

that something important had happened.

It had.

Nine months later Mike Elliott was born.

You see, all this boy ever really wanted to do was play guitar. ELECTRIC guitar.

One fateful day, Mike, along with his trusted partners in musical effluence,

Jeff Adams and Chad Jufer decided to go to a show together.

The name of the venue is unimportant, but the city was centralized in Los Angeles.

Within moments the show began and ended with no particular significance,

other than a chance meeting with George Herrera, who was known not only as

a hard hitting drummer of impalpable distinction, but a genuine person.

Little did they know that night the four of them would become brothers

in the dirtiest city in the world, Los Angeles.

When asked “Where did you get the name?”

The front man Mike Elliott, simply said,

"Yeah... well... I live in the city, have a brother, and I'm dirty."

Little did he know the true meaning of his importance...
