The mystery of The Dirty City Brothers is starting to unfold. 

It all started with Mike Elliott, but that doesn't matter at the moment.

You see all this boy really ever wanted to do was play guitar.

One fateful day, Mike, along with his trusted partner in musical effluence Sam Broderick,

decided to go to a show together. The name of the venue is unimportant,

but the city was centralized in Los Angeles.

Within moments the show began and ended with no particular significance

other than a chance meeting withJohn Paul Zapanta , who was known not only as

a hard hitting drummer of impalpable distinction, but a longtime friend.

Little did they know but that night the three of them would become brothers

in the dirtiest city in the world, Los Angeles.

On May 19 2005 the Dirty City Brothers were born.

When asked “where did you get the name?” The front man Mike Elliott, simply said,

"Yeah... well... I live in the city, have a brother, and I'm dirty."
